Parallel Compression: A brief summary is that its achieved by mixing a dry or lightly compressed signal with a heavily compressed version of the same signal. The purpose is to have the dry and compressed signals running parallel. In this video we’ll be parallel compressing a drum track. This technique is very useful and can help you create better mixes.
