This class is an introduction to the basic components and techniques of the recording process. You will learn and acquire the necessary skills to record music within a professional environment. You will gain experience and work with a band consisting of drums, bass guitar, piano and vocals in Studio-A. Our instructors focus on technical but creative processes through experimentation, this is key in helping you Discover your Signature Sound.

RECORDING CLASS
The purpose of this class is to expand on the topics learned within the Mixing Workshop. A set of guidelines will be introduced to help expand your toolbox in order to enhance creativity within your mixes. The “art of mixing” will be spent on training your ear with techniques used by Christian Cummings a highly rated professional in the field of Audio Production.

SOLO RECORDING SESSION
Put your knowledge and skills to the test by recording in a professional environment accompanied by a recording engineer. Get Hands-On and complete a 10hr recording session in Studio-B. This session will prepare you for actual working situations and give you real world experience. Together with a pro engineer you will discuss the project, develop a strategy and execute it. The Solo Recording Session with be scheduled by appointment!
